Product Description

The Kent-Moore J-42562 Axle Remover Wedge is a tool designed to remove the C-ring from the output shaft of the transfer case on 1997-2004 Ford F-150, Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator with 4T60E transmission, 1997-2006 Ford Excursion with 4R100 transmission, and 1997-2004 Mercury Mountaineer with 4T60E transmission. The wedge prevents damage to the output shaft and aligns the output shaft with the carrier assembly for easy installation. The tool is easy to use with no special tools required.

Instructions for Use

1. Remove the transfer case from the vehicle.
2. Align the output shaft with the carrier assembly.
3. Insert the wedge into the gap between the output shaft and the carrier assembly.
4. Apply pressure to the wedge until the C-ring is removed from the output shaft.
5. Remove the wedge from the transfer case.
