The Sunmight 01111 Film Open Coated Sanding Disc is engineered for professional automotive and industrial applications requiring precise material removal and consistent finishes. Featuring a durable polyester film backing and a P220 grit, this premium sanding disc is designed for efficiency and longevity in demanding work environments.

Key Features

Premium Aluminum Oxide Grain: Utilizes high-quality aluminum oxide abrasive for aggressive cutting, extended disc life, and consistent scratch patterns on various materials.
Durable Polyester Film Backing: Provides exceptional tear resistance and flexibility, ensuring uniform sanding pressure and a smooth finish, even on contoured surfaces.
Open Coat Design: Reduces clogging and pilling, allowing for longer continuous use and efficient dust extraction, particularly when working with soft materials or old paint.
Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA): Offers quick and secure attachment to sanding pads, facilitating rapid disc changes and a strong bond during operation.
Phenolic Resin Bond: Delivers superior heat resistance and abrasive retention, preventing premature grain shedding under heavy use.
5-inch Diameter: Standard size compatible with most professional orbital and random orbital sanders.

Applications

This versatile sanding disc is ideal for a wide range of professional tasks in body shops, manufacturing facilities, and industrial settings. It excels at preparing surfaces for primer and paint, feather edging, light stock removal, and refining finishes on metal, composites, and various types of wood. Its P220 grit makes it suitable for intermediate sanding stages where slight imperfections need to be removed and a smooth surface is desired before finer finishing steps.
