This 6-inch P220 grit PSA disc is designed to meet the demands of rigorous surface preparation tasks, ensuring reliable results for technicians and mechanics.

Key Features

• Premium Aluminum Oxide Grain: Provides aggressive cutting action and extended service life, facilitating efficient material removal and consistent finishes.
• Durable Polyester Film Backing: Offers superior tear resistance and flexibility compared to traditional paper backings, enhancing disc conformability to contoured surfaces and overall durability in demanding work environments.
• Open Coat Technology: Designed to resist loading and clogging, especially when sanding softer materials, ensuring sustained cutting power and reducing the need for frequent disc changes.
• Phenolic Resin Bond: Utilizes a strong phenolic resin bond to securely anchor the abrasive grains, offering high heat resistance and preventing premature grain shedding under heavy use.
• Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) Backing: Enables quick and secure attachment to compatible backing pads, streamlining disc changes and maximizing operational efficiency.
• Convenient Link Roll Format: Delivers discs in an organized roll, allowing for easy dispensing of individual discs while protecting unused abrasives from shop contaminants.

Applications

This versatile sanding disc is ideal for a broad range of professional tasks. Its P220 grit is well-suited for intermediate sanding stages in automotive body repair, including the preparation of surfaces for primer, feathering edges of existing finishes, and general paint removal. It is also effective in metal fabrication for deburring and surface conditioning, and in woodworking for preparing surfaces prior to staining or sealing.
