The Sunmight Gold 00606 Open Coated Link Roll Sanding Disc is engineered for professional automotive and industrial applications requiring efficient material removal and consistent finishes. This 6-inch, P80 grit sanding disc features a robust construction designed to provide durability and performance during demanding tasks such as surface preparation and shaping.

Key Features

Premium Aluminum Oxide Grain: Utilizes high-quality aluminum oxide abrasive for aggressive cutting action and extended disc life on various substrates.
Open Coat Design: The open coat construction helps to resist loading, particularly when working with softer materials or paint, ensuring consistent cutting performance.
Durable Latex Paper Backing: Features a flexible yet strong latex paper backing that conforms to contours while maintaining integrity under pressure.
Phenolic Resin Bond: A high-strength phenolic resin bond secures the abrasive grain firmly to the backing, preventing premature shedding and ensuring maximum grit utilization.
PSA Link Roll Format: Supplied in a convenient Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) link roll format, allowing for quick, consistent application and easy dispensing as needed.
P80 Grit: The P80 grit is ideal for initial material removal, preparing surfaces for finer grits, or for tasks requiring a moderately aggressive cut.

Applications

The Sunmight Gold 00606 sanding disc is well-suited for a range of professional tasks. It is highly effective for automotive bodywork, including paint stripping, feather edging, and shaping body filler. In industrial settings, this disc can be used for rust removal, preparing metal surfaces for welding or coating, and general material shaping on wood, composites, or plastics. Its design ensures reliable performance in high-production environments.
