Torx Bits

Torx bits are a type of fastener that is used in a variety of applications, including automotive, industrial, and electronic devices. They are designed to provide a secure hold without damaging the fastener or the surrounding material.

Torx bits are identified by a six-sided star-shaped head. The number of points on the star head corresponds to the size of the bit. For example, a T10 Torx bit has 10 points on the head.

Torx bits are available in a variety of lengths and styles. The most common type of Torx bit is the standard Torx bit. This type of bit has a straight shank and is used for most applications. Other types of Torx bits include the tamper-proof Torx bit and the security Torx bit.

Tamper-proof Torx bits have a raised pin in the center of the head. This pin prevents the bit from being inserted into the fastener unless it is specifically designed for that type of bit. Security Torx bits have a unique keyway in the head. This keyway prevents the bit from being inserted into the fastener unless it is specifically designed for that type of bit.

Torx bits are a versatile and essential tool for any mechanic. They are available in a variety of sizes and styles to meet the needs of any application.
