• Phenolic Resin Bond: Provides a strong, heat-resistant bond between the abrasive grain and backing, minimizing shedding and maximizing durability under demanding use.
• Open Coat Design: Reduces clogging and loading, especially when working with softer materials or paints, ensuring extended abrasive life and consistent cutting action.
• Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA): Allows for quick, secure attachment and easy removal from backing pads, streamlining workflow and reducing downtime.
• 6-inch, P800 Grit: Optimized for fine sanding, scuffing, and preparation before primer or paint application, creating a smooth and even surface.

Applications

This versatile sanding disc is an essential tool for various professional applications. It is particularly well-suited for automotive bodywork, including paint preparation, scuffing clear coats, and refining surfaces before blending. In industrial settings, it excels at finishing metal surfaces, plastics, and composites, providing a consistent finish crucial for subsequent painting or coating processes. The P800 grit is ideal for final sanding steps where a very fine scratch pattern is required without aggressive material removal.
