This professional-grade 6-inch disc features a durable film backing and a P36 grit for efficient and consistent performance in tough sanding tasks. It is designed for mechanics and technicians who require robust and reliable abrasive solutions.

Key Features

Durable Film Backing: Constructed with a robust polyester film backing that offers superior tear resistance and dimensional stability, ensuring a longer disc life and consistent finish.
Aggressive P36 Grit: Utilizes a coarse P36 grit, ideal for rapid material removal, stripping heavy coatings, and tackling significant surface imperfections.
Open Coat Design: The open coat configuration minimizes loading and clogging, especially when sanding softer materials or paints, extending the disc's effective lifespan.
Premium Aluminum Oxide Grain: Features high-quality aluminum oxide abrasive grain for consistent cutting action, durability, and effective stock removal on various substrates.
Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA): Equipped with a strong PSA backing for secure attachment to appropriate backing pads, allowing for quick disc changes and reliable operation.

Applications

This sanding disc is particularly effective for heavy-duty tasks in automotive body repair, including the aggressive removal of paint, rust, and old body fillers. It is also well-suited for industrial applications such as stripping existing finishes from metal components, preparing surfaces for welding or coating, and leveling uneven surfaces where significant material reduction is necessary. Its durable construction makes it a reliable choice for consistent performance in challenging environments.
