NOX & SOOT Sensor Socket Wrench Set -

The Model 15500 NOX & SOOT Sensor Socket Wrench Set is engineered to provide professional technicians with specialized access for servicing modern diesel and gasoline emissions systems. This essential nox sensor tool kit ensures precise removal and installation of NOX, SOOT (PM), and O2 sensors, protecting delicate wiring harnesses and critical sensor fittings during maintenance and diagnostics.

Key Features

• Precision Fit for Emissions Sensors: Engineered to precisely fit common NOX, SOOT/PM, and oxygen sensor hex sizes, including those requiring a 15mm sensor socket or similar common dimensions, found on late-model diesel pickups, heavy-duty trucks, and passenger vehicles. Close-tolerance hex profiles minimize slip and prevent rounding of valuable sensors and exhaust components.
• Enhanced Access in Confined Spaces: Features offset and slotted nox sensor socket designs that clear wiring, pigtails, and heat shields. This ensures full engagement on the sensor body even in constricted areas around turbochargers, DPFs, SCR catalysts, and catalytic converters, making it a highly effective soot sensor socket.
• Professional-Grade Durability: Constructed from high-strength steel, this nox sensor wrench set is built to withstand the high breakaway torque often required for stubborn, seized sensors. This ensures reliable performance and longevity in demanding shop environments.
• Component Protection: Designed to facilitate clean removal and installation, safeguarding delicate wiring harnesses and critical sensor fittings from damage.

Applications

This professional-grade nox sensor tool kit is indispensable for NOX and SOOT sensor replacement on diesel pickups, medium- and heavy-duty trucks, and late-model passenger vehicles equipped with DPF and SCR aftertreatment systems. It is commonly utilized in dealership service departments, independent repair shops, and fleet maintenance facilities for emissions diagnostics, sensor replacement, and exhaust aftertreatment service. The set is also suitable for oxygen sensor work during tune-ups, drivability repairs, and emissions compliance inspections.
