The Lisle 12310 30MM NOx & Soot Socket is an essential specialty tool engineered for professional technicians and mechanics working on modern diesel emissions systems. Designed for precise fit and efficient operation, this robust socket facilitates the removal and installation of 30MM NOx and soot sensors, even in challenging, restricted access areas. Its durable construction ensures reliable performance under demanding shop conditions.
Key Features
- 30MM Size: Specifically designed to fit 30MM NOx and soot sensors.
- 1/2-Inch Drive: Compatible with standard 1/2-inch drive ratchets and breaker bars for effective torque application.
- Dual Engagement: Features both 6-point and 12-point options for versatile engagement with various sensor fasteners.
- Offset Design: The crowfoot-style, offset design provides critical clearance for accessing sensors without the need to cut wires, making it ideal for confined spaces.
- Professional-Grade Construction: Built from high-quality materials to withstand the high break-away torque often required to remove corroded or heat-seized sensors.
Applications
This 30MM NOx & Soot Socket is invaluable for servicing emissions systems on a range of diesel vehicles. It is particularly suited for 2014-current Ram 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 engines found in Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Ram 1500 trucks. Beyond these specific applications, it is also suitable for other manufacturers utilizing 30MM NOx and soot sensors in their exhaust systems, where sensors are prone to heat, rust, and corrosion.
