This dual-sized tool offers a combination of accessibility and speed, making it an essential addition for various mechanical tasks. Lang Tools has been a cornerstone of professional automotive and industrial tool markets since 1932, known for delivering high-quality, professional-grade specialty tools.

Key Features

• Dual Metric Sizes: Integrates both 7mm and 8mm 12-point box ends on a single wrench, providing versatility for common metric fasteners. This dual-ended design reduces the need for multiple tools, streamlining your toolbox.
• 12-Point Box End: Delivers secure engagement with fasteners, minimizing the risk of slippage and preserving bolt head integrity, even in high-torque applications. The 12-point profile engages hex fasteners at 30-degree intervals, reducing the swing arc needed for each turn.
• Offset Design: The angled head provides crucial clearance, enabling access to recessed or obstructed fasteners commonly found in engine bays or complex machinery where straight wrenches may not fit. This design allows for easier operation in tight working spaces without repositioning the tool.
• Ratcheting Mechanism: Allows for continuous fastener rotation without the need to remove and reposition the wrench, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and reducing task time. This feature is particularly beneficial for long threaded bolts and repetitive work.
• Professional-Grade Construction: Manufactured by Lang, a brand known for its durable and reliable performance, this wrench is heat-treated and chrome-plated for durability and appearance under rigorous daily use in professional settings.

Applications

This wrench is a valuable asset across a range of professional tasks. It is essential for automotive maintenance, facilitating work on engine components, brake systems, and other vehicle assemblies with metric fasteners. The tool is also well-suited for equipment repair and the assembly and maintenance of small machinery, electronic devices, and appliances. In light industrial environments and on assembly lines, it provides a robust solution for tightening and loosening fasteners. The offset design is especially useful when working near raised flanges, deep recesses, or closely spaced bolt clusters.
