The Sunmight 04211 Film Open Coated File Sheet is engineered for professional automotive and industrial applications requiring efficient material removal and consistent surface preparation. Measuring 2-3/4 inches by 16-1/2 inches, this PSA (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive) file sheet provides reliable adhesion and ease of use, making it an essential abrasive for technicians and mechanics. Its durable construction ensures a long working life and uniform finishes across various substrates.

Key Features

Premium Aluminum Oxide Grain: Utilizes high-quality aluminum oxide abrasive for effective and consistent sanding on a variety of materials.
Polyester Film Backing: Features a robust polyester film backing that offers superior tear resistance and flexibility, enhancing durability and conformability during use.
Phenolic Resin Bond: Employs a strong phenolic resin bond to secure the abrasive grain, minimizing shedding and extending the sheet's operational lifespan under demanding conditions.
Open Coat Design: The open coat design resists loading, particularly when working with softer materials or paint, maintaining cutting efficiency and improving productivity.
Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA): Equipped with a reliable PSA backing for quick and secure attachment to sanding blocks and file boards, allowing for rapid sheet changes.

Applications

This versatile film file sheet is suitable for a range of automotive bodywork, including paint stripping, feather edging, and general surface preparation before primer or paint application. It is also effective for industrial finishing tasks, such as deburring, shaping, and refining surfaces on metal, wood, and composite materials. Professional technicians will find it ideal for achieving smooth, consistent finishes on panels, bumpers, and other vehicle components.
