The Genius Tools 1990 10mm Hex Shank, 1.6 x 10.0mm Slotted Bit 285mmL is engineered for professional technicians and mechanics requiring extended reach and precise engagement with slotted-head fasteners. This robust, professional-grade tool is designed for demanding automotive and industrial applications, providing reliable performance in hard-to-access areas.
Key Features
- 10mm Hex Shank: Ensures compatibility with a wide range of professional 10mm hex-drive power tools and manual drivers, providing secure torque transfer.
- 1.6 x 10.0mm Slotted Bit: Precision-machined tip for optimal fit within slotted fasteners, reducing the risk of cam-out and fastener damage under high torque.
- 285mm (11.2 inch) Extended Length: Specifically designed to provide superior reach into deep recesses, confined spaces, and behind obstructions where standard bits cannot access.
- Durable Construction: Manufactured from high-grade steel, built to withstand the rigors of daily shop use and resist wear, torsion, and corrosion for a prolonged service life.
Applications
This extended slotted bit is indispensable for accessing fasteners commonly found in complex machinery and vehicle assemblies. Its length makes it ideal for reaching deep-seated components within engine bays, dashboard assemblies, door panels, and undercarriages where obstructions prevent the use of shorter tools. It is also suitable for industrial equipment maintenance, where fasteners are often recessed or in tight enclosures. This tool facilitates the removal and installation of slotted-head screws and similar hardware in applications demanding precision and extended reach.
