• For extracting broken dipstick tubes, a common issue on Dodge 5.7L & 6.1L HEMI Engines during engine service. When the dipstick tube breaks off, a piece remians at entry point, located at the bottom of the engine block (near the oil pan). Use the extractor to thread into tube to remove. Use with #5401 Thread Adapter Tool and any standard thread (5/8-18 TPI) slide hammer to properly remove the stuck dipstick tube.
