The Keysco Tools 77611 Seam Buster Set is an indispensable 3-piece collection crafted for professional automotive technicians and industrial mechanics. This specialized set provides the precise tools needed for efficient and controlled separation of spot-welded and adhesive-bonded panels, optimizing workflows in automotive body repair, restoration, and fabrication tasks.

Key Features

• Three-Piece Versatility: This set includes straight, 30-degree, and 90-degree (right-angle) seam busters. Each tool's distinct profile allows for effective access and separation across a variety of panel types and seam configurations.
• Professional-Grade Durability: Constructed from robust chrome vanadium steel (Cr-V) or tough alloy steel, these tools are engineered to withstand the rigors of daily professional use. Their sharpened blades are designed for edge retention and can be re-sharpened, extending tool life.
• Efficient Panel Separation: Specifically designed to effectively dislodge panel adhesives and break spot welds, these seam busters streamline the panel removal process. They can be tapped with a hammer for increased force on stubborn seams without compromising tool integrity.
• Minimized Panel Damage: Engineered for precise engagement, these tools help prevent unnecessary distortion or damage to surrounding panels and vehicle structures during separation, contributing to professional repair outcomes.

Applications

The Keysco Tools Seam Buster Set is ideal for professionals in automotive body repair, collision repair, and vehicle restoration. Common applications include separating spot-welded components like automotive quarter panels, rocker panels, and floor pans. They are also effective for cleanly removing adhesive-bonded components and breaking structural seams in fabrication work. Additionally, these tools prove useful for interior trim removal, such as door panels and dashboards, where careful and precise panel separation is necessary to avoid damage.
