1-1/8" x 1-1/4" Box End Wrench - Genius Tools

The Genius Tools 713640 Double Box End Wrench is engineered for professional automotive and industrial technicians tackling demanding service tasks. This robust tool provides reliable access and efficient torque delivery for larger fasteners, combining two essential sizes into a single, durable wrench to streamline workflow in challenging environments.

Key Features

• Dual-Size 1-1/8" x 1-1/4" Design: This versatile wrench offers both a 1-1/8 inch and a 1-1/4 inch box end, minimizing tool changes and optimizing efficiency when addressing common large fasteners on heavy-duty vehicles and industrial machinery.
• 12-Point Box Ends: Designed for a secure and precise fit, the 12-point configuration ensures a strong grip on fasteners, reducing the risk of rounding while accommodating smaller turning arcs in confined or obstructed work areas.
• Offset Heads: The wrench features offset ends to improve knuckle clearance and facilitate access to recessed or partially hidden fasteners, common on chassis, suspension, and bracket installations.
• High-Strength Chromium-Vanadium Steel Construction: Manufactured from professional-grade Chromium-Vanadium steel alloy, this wrench is forged and heat-treated for superior strength, durability, and resistance to high torque applications and frequent daily use. Chromium-vanadium steel is known for its excellent mechanical strength, wear resistance, and toughness, balancing cost-effectiveness with high performance.
• Polished Chrome Finish: A polished chrome finish offers excellent resistance to corrosion and allows for easy cleaning, contributing to the tool's extended service life and professional appearance.

Applications

The 713640 double box end wrench is well-suited for a wide range of heavy-duty applications. It is ideal for maintenance and repair tasks on light- and heavy-duty trucks, agricultural machinery, industrial equipment, and construction vehicles where 1-1/8" and 1-1/4" fasteners are regularly encountered. This includes chassis and suspension work, securing large brackets and mounts, and general mechanical repair in professional automotive shops, fleet service centers, and industrial maintenance departments.
