Update your CP9145/50 to include CAN (Controller Area Network) vehicles. Main update for your CP9145/50 scan tool will be the addition of the CAN protocol. CP9145/50 is compatible with most 1996 and newer vehicles (OBDII) but many of today's newer vehicles also require CAN capabilities as well. Therefore many of the 2003-2006 models already require the new CAN protocol. By 2008, all vehicles sold in the U.S. will be required to have the CAN protocol. By purchasing this update, you will be ready for all of today's current vehicles and beyond.
