Kent-Moore EN-49960 Injector Nozzle Sleeve Puller
The current service procedure to replace the injector nozzle sleeve involves removing the cylinder head. EN-49960 allows injector nozzle sleeve replacement with the head installed on the engine. EN-49960-3 Remover is seated into the nozzle sleeve, and turned counter-clockwise with a wrench to unscrew it from the cylinder head. If a sleeve spins without removal, a slide hammer with 1/2"-13 thread (such as J-23907-1) is installed into EN-49960-3, and used to remove the nozzle sleeve. Once the new sleeve is ready for installation, it is placed onto EN-49960-1 Installer Guide, and seated lightly into the head with a hammer against EN-49960-1. The Injector clamp is used to hold EN-49960-1 and the sleeve in place. EN-49960-3 Swager is guided through EN-49960-1, and seated with a hammer. The included hardware is then threaded onto to EN-49960-3 remove it from EN-49960-1
