Applications

The Lisle 12770 19mm Line Socket is primarily utilized for servicing fuel lines, particularly high-pressure fuel lines found in common rail diesel engines for both passenger cars and trucks. Its specialized design makes it suitable for working on specific components such as Detroit Diesel fuel pipe sockets. Beyond fuel systems, the broader design of Lisle flare nut sockets (including this 19mm size) is also effective for working on wired temperature sensors, thermo switches, ABS, master cylinder, and coolant sensors, which require access around an installed line. This tool is invaluable for automotive service, heavy equipment maintenance, and industrial plumbing where accurate and non-damaging access to line fittings is critical.
