3PC EXT LUG NUT SOCKET SET - CTA Manufacturing Corp.

The CTA Manufacturing Corp. 7069 3-Piece Extended Lug Nut Socket Set is engineered for professional technicians performing daily wheel service on contemporary vehicles. This specialized set provides the essential reach and protection required for modern alloy and chrome wheels, enabling efficient and damage-free removal and installation of lug nuts. It is a practical and necessary addition for any professional automotive workshop.

Key Features

• Extended, Thin-Wall Design: These extra-long, 150mm (5.9-inch) sockets are designed to access deep, recessed lug nuts commonly found on a range of OEM and aftermarket wheels, ensuring broad vehicle compatibility and safer operation than a regular socket with an extension.
• Non-Marring Protective Sleeves: Outer sleeves are designed to prevent scratches, scuffs, and other damage to painted, alloy, and chrome wheel finishes during service procedures, protecting both the wheel and the lug nut itself.
• Impact-Ready Construction: Manufactured from high-strength steel, these sockets are built to withstand the demands of frequent professional use with 1/2-inch drive impact wrenches.
• Clear Size Identification: Permanently marked sizes allow for quick and accurate selection, contributing to a streamlined workflow in busy service environments. The set includes 17mm, 19mm, and 21mm sockets.
• Versatile Drive Compatibility: Compatible with 1/2-inch drive impact wrenches, ratchets, and breaker bars, offering flexibility for various service scenarios, including mobile repairs.

Applications

This extended lug nut socket set is suitable for professional automotive applications such as tire rotations, seasonal tire changeovers, comprehensive brake system maintenance, and wheel replacements. It is an ideal tool for tire shops, general repair facilities, and mobile service operations that frequently work on passenger cars, SUVs, and light trucks equipped with recessed lug nuts and sensitive wheel finishes.
