12 pc Metric Stubby Reversible Ratcheting Combination Wrench Set - J.H. Williams

The J.H. Williams JHWMWS-12RCS 12 pc Metric Stubby Reversible Ratcheting Combination Wrench Set is engineered for professional automotive and industrial technicians working in confined spaces. This versatile set provides efficient manipulation and controlled torque where traditional full-length wrenches cannot operate, making it an essential addition for modern vehicles and machinery with densely packed components.

Key Features

• Comprehensive Metric Coverage: Includes 12 common metric sizes, ranging from 8mm to 19mm, essential for import and domestic passenger vehicles, light trucks, and various industrial machinery.
• Optimized for Tight Access: Stubby length shanks provide superior access and maneuverability in crowded engine bays, around firewalls, under dash panels, and within equipment housings with limited clearance.
• Efficient Reversible Ratcheting Box End: A clearly marked, thumb-operated lever on the 12-point box end allows for quick direction changes without removing the wrench from the fastener. The fine-tooth design, featuring a dual-pawl mechanism, provides a small 5-degree swing arc for enhanced efficiency in restricted areas.
• Versatile Combination Design: Each wrench features a standard open end for initial placement on exposed hex fasteners, complemented by a ratcheting box end for efficient run-down and removal. Low-profile heads provide additional clearance around nearby components.
• Professional-Grade Durability: Built with J.H. Williams high-grade alloy steel construction, these wrenches are designed to withstand daily use on corroded or tight hardware. The high-polished chrome finish enhances durability, corrosion resistance, and allows for easy cleaning.

Applications

This set is specifically designed for professional automotive technicians, fleet service personnel, and industrial maintenance crews. It is particularly effective for engine and accessory work on compact and transverse-mounted engines, under-dash and HVAC components, as well as brake and suspension fasteners where handle travel is restricted. The JHWMWS-12RCS set excels in modern vehicles and equipment where access is limited, helping to reduce disassembly steps and improve overall job efficiency.
