PIG Universal Light-Weight Absorbent Drum-Top Pad - New Pig

The New Pig 25103 PIG Universal Light-Weight Absorbent Drum-Top Pad is engineered to maintain clean, dry, and safe work areas around 55-gallon steel drums in professional automotive and industrial environments. Constructed from durable, multi-layer polypropylene, these pads effectively capture routine drips, overfills, and splashes, proactively reducing slip risks and extensive cleanup efforts associated with bulk fluid and waste oil drums.

Key Features

• Drum-Top Specific Design: Each pad is pre-cut with precise openings for both 3/4" and 2" bungs, ensuring a perfect fit on standard 55-gallon steel drum tops without the need for manual trimming or modification.
• Universal Fluid Compatibility: Designed for versatility, these pads absorb a broad spectrum of industrial fluids, including oil, coolants, water, grease, gasoline, solvents, paint overspray, and battery acid, making them ideal for mixed-fluid applications.
• Durable, Multi-Layer Construction: Featuring eight layers of 100% polypropylene, thermally bonded for superior strength, these pads resist tearing, fraying, and disintegration, even when fully saturated with fluids.
• Fast, Efficient Absorption: An exclusive dimple pattern is integrated to channel liquids across the entire pad surface, maximizing absorption capacity and speeding up the soak time for rapid spill containment.
• Lightweight & Cost-Efficient: The lightweight design offers an economical solution for routine fluid management, and pads can be wrung out, compacted, or incinerated for convenient disposal.

Applications

These drum-top pads are an essential tool for automotive repair shops, fleet maintenance facilities, body shops, and various industrial plants. They are particularly effective when placed on 55-gallon drums used for storing bulk oil, coolant, automatic transmission fluid (ATF), washer fluid, or solvents. The pads excel at capturing funnel drips, overfills, and incidental splashes, thereby helping to maintain cleaner and safer work environments around drum stations and reducing the reliance on absorbent granulates, mops, and shop rags.
