Its adaptable design allows for targeted spill control, ensuring maintenance tasks can proceed with minimal interruption from fluid leaks.

Key Features

• Universal Fluid Absorption: Designed to absorb oils, coolants, water, cutting fluids, transmission fluid, and common shop solvents, simplifying spill response and inventory management for diverse applications.
• Flexible, Form-Fitting Design: Easily conforms around vehicle lifts, alignment racks, hoists, engine stands, parts washers, and 55-gallon drums, allowing technicians to isolate and contain leaks directly at their source.
• Durable Polypropylene Skin: Features a robust outer casing that resists tearing and chemical degradation, maintaining integrity and consistent performance even when fully saturated with challenging fluids.
• High-Capacity Absorbent Core: Utilizes a proven PIG Mat absorbent filler, engineered to rapidly pull in and retain liquids, preventing their spread across service bays and high-traffic areas.
• Low-Dust Construction: Minimizes airborne particles during handling, which is important for contamination-sensitive tasks such as brake service or transmission component maintenance.

Applications

This absorbent sock is ideal for deployment around vehicle lifts and alignment racks to capture engine, transmission, and cooling system leaks during routine service and inspection. It effectively wraps around bulk oil tanks, waste oil tanks, parts washers, solvent storage, and 55-gallon drums to manage drips and overfills. Technicians can also position these absorbent socks across shop doorways, thresholds, or along walls to prevent the migration of water and shop fluids into clean zones or high-traffic areas within automotive repair shops, fleet garages, and industrial maintenance facilities.
