The New Pig PIG Water-Repellent, Oil-Absorbent Lightweight Mat Pad (Model 26100) is specifically engineered to meet the rigorous demands of professional automotive and industrial environments. This specialized mat pad effectively repels water while rapidly absorbing petroleum-based liquids, ensuring cleaner and safer workspaces for technicians and mechanics. Its selective absorption capabilities make it an essential tool for managing spills and drips, contributing to a more productive and compliant work area.

Key Features

• Selective Fluid Absorption: Constructed with multiple layers of 100% polypropylene, this pad specifically targets and rapidly absorbs oils, fuels, and hydraulic fluids, preventing saturation by water and ensuring efficient spill cleanup even in wet or damp conditions.
• High-Capacity Containment: Quickly soaks up common automotive and industrial fluids such as motor oils, grease, transmission fluid, and hydraulic fluids, effectively mitigating their spread and reducing slip hazards in active workshops.
• Durable, No-Fray Construction: Features eight thermally bonded layers to resist tearing and fraying, even when fully saturated. The exclusive dimple pattern speeds wicking for faster cleanup and reliable performance under demanding conditions.
• Lightweight & Easy Deployment: Its lightweight design allows for easy handling, quick deployment in critical areas, and efficient disposal after use, streamlining maintenance routines and cleanup efforts.
• Optimal Dimensions for Targeted Control: The 15" x 20" pad size is ideal for precise placement under engines, transmissions, axles, or industrial machinery for targeted fluid control and drip management.
• Grit-Free Material: This PIG mat is free of damaging grit and dust, making it suitable for use around delicate sensors, parts, and tools without leaving residue.

Applications

The PIG Water-Repellent, Oil-Absorbent Lightweight Mat Pad is well-suited for a range of professional applications where selective fluid absorption is critical. It is an essential tool for automotive repair shops, heavy-duty vehicle maintenance bays, and manufacturing facilities. Ideal for placement beneath vehicle lifts, industrial machinery, and hydraulic lines to catch leaks during operation or storage. This pad also supports proactive maintenance by absorbing drips and overspray during fluid changes, equipment servicing, or component removal, helping to maintain a cleaner, more organized workspace and prevent potential slip hazards. It can be used both indoors and outdoors, even floating on water to clean up oil-based liquids.
