GearBox Metric Double Box Ratcheting Master Wrench Set - 17-Pc - GearWrench

The GearWrench 85989 GearBox Metric Double Box Ratcheting Master Wrench Set is a 17-piece collection engineered for professional technicians and mechanics tackling demanding metric fastening tasks. This comprehensive set is designed to deliver extended reach, enhanced leverage, and reduced fastener damage, promoting efficiency and productivity in various work environments. With its innovative design, the 85989 master wrench set becomes a crucial asset for precision in automotive and industrial applications.

Key Features

• Extended Reach & Leverage: The XL Beam Design offers up to 40% more length than standard wrenches, increasing access and maximizing torque for loosening stubborn fasteners in confined spaces.
• Rapid Fastener Engagement: A 72-tooth ratcheting mechanism requires only a 5° swing arc, enabling quick fastener engagement and removal, particularly in tight areas with restricted movement.
• Reduced Fastener Rounding: An innovative off-corner loading design grips fastener flats, not corners, to minimize rounding and extend the life of both fasteners and tools.
• Versatile Fastening Options: Each wrench includes a non-ratcheting 0° offset box end for breaking loose high-torque fasteners, complemented by a 12-point ratcheting box end for continuous turning.
• Professional-Grade Durability: Constructed from high-quality alloy steel with a bright, full polish chrome finish, these wrenches provide exceptional strength, superior corrosion resistance, and simplified cleaning.

Applications

This master wrench set is well-suited for a wide range of professional applications involving metric fasteners. It supports automotive maintenance, including intricate engine work, chassis repairs, and general vehicle servicing where metric fasteners are common. For industrial equipment repair, such as the assembly, maintenance, and breakdown of machinery with metric specifications, the 85989 GearWrench provides the necessary reach and strength. Its slim profile, XL beam length, and minimal 5° swing arc enable effective access to fasteners in restrictive locations across various mechanical assembly tasks.
