The Mountain PPMS003-2PCS-SET 2 Piece Magnetic Punch Screwdriver Set provides professional automotive and industrial technicians with a versatile solution for challenging fastening tasks. Each tool combines the precise grip of a magnetic-tip screwdriver with the impact capability of a screwdriver punch tool, streamlining workflows by reducing the need for constant tool changes.
Key Features
- Dual-Function Design: Each tool functions as both a driver and a punch screwdriver, making it ideal for starting pilot holes, freeing stuck or painted-over fasteners, and performing light impact work beyond the capacity of a standard driver.
- Magnetic Retention: Equipped with magnetic tips, these tools securely hold fasteners for one-handed operation in tight engine bays, under-dash areas, and overhead work, significantly reducing dropped hardware.
- Impact-Ready Construction: Engineered with robust shafts and heavy-duty caps, these tools are built for repetitive striking and daily use in demanding professional environments without compromising the screwdriver tip.
- Precision Tip Geometry: Tips are designed to seat firmly into fastener heads, minimizing cam-out and preventing damage during the installation or removal of interior trim, light hardware, and electrical components.
- Ergonomic Grips: Contoured handles provide solid control for applying rotational torque and controlled striking when utilizing the screwdriver punch function.
Applications
This magnetic screwdriver punch set is well-suited for automotive interior, dash, HVAC boxes, brackets, and electrical component work on passenger cars, light trucks, and fleet vehicles where access is often limited. It is also effective for panel work, small brackets, and hardware on industrial equipment, machinery guards, and enclosures. In a shop setting, these tools assist with light fabrication, cabinetry, and electrical panel work in wood, plastics, and softer metals where the ability to both start and drive fasteners with a compact, impact-capable tool is essential.
