The 3M Scotch-Brite Ultra Fine Hand Pad 37448 is a professional-grade surface conditioning pad designed for consistent, controlled scuffing and finish work across demanding automotive and industrial applications. This 6" x 9" pad offers a durable and efficient alternative to traditional steel wool 00, eliminating concerns of shedding, rust, or surface contamination. It is an essential tool for technicians requiring dependable surface preparation in body shops, refinishing operations, and fabrication facilities.

Key Features

• Ultra-Fine Silicon Carbide Abrasive: Delivers an even and predictable cut for final finishing, scuffing, and paint preparation, comparable to steel wool 00.
• Non-Woven Open-Web Construction: This design resists loading, promotes cooler operation, and maintains consistent cutting performance over extended jobs on various materials.
• Conformable 6" x 9" Pad: The flexible pad easily wraps around contours, edges, and tight areas on components like panels, bumpers, and mirror housings.
• Clean Steel Wool Replacement: Provides the benefits of steel wool without the drawbacks of rust, splinters, or metal residue, reducing the risk of rework during refinishing and detailing tasks.
• Versatile Use Conditions: Effective whether used dry, with water, or alongside common automotive solvents and cleaners for comprehensive paint preparation.

Applications
