The OTC 4739 Motorcycle Chain Brush is a professional-grade cleaning tool engineered for thorough and efficient drive chain maintenance in demanding shop environments. It is designed to effectively remove contaminants, ensuring chains are properly prepared for lubrication and promoting extended service life across a range of powersports equipment. This tool is essential for technicians focused on maintaining optimal drivetrain performance.
Key Features
- Three-Sided Bristle Head: This design maximizes cleaning efficiency by simultaneously addressing rollers, side plates, and links, which significantly reduces service time compared to conventional single-sided brushes. The bristles are adjustable to accommodate chain widths ranging from 1/4" to 9/16".
- Chemical-Resistant Construction: Built with durable materials, the brush withstands repeated exposure to aggressive chain cleaners and degreasers, ensuring longevity without material degradation or deformation.
- Ergonomic Grip: The non-slip handle provides secure control and precise maneuverability, which is crucial for detailed cleaning around sprockets, chain guards, and tight clearances found on modern powersports vehicles.
- Sealed-Chain Compatibility: The brush is safely used on O-ring, X-ring, and Z-ring chains when paired with appropriate cleaning solutions, helping to preserve seal integrity and prevent damage to critical chain components.
- Compact Shop-Friendly Design: Its slim profile allows for easy storage in tool carts and drawers, supporting organized workspaces and preventing cross-contamination between different cleaning tasks.

This includes street motorcycles, dirt bikes, dual-sport and adventure bikes, and ATVs. The OTC 4739 effectively dislodges road film, sand, mud, old chain lube, and metallic debris from chains and sprockets before re-lubrication. Regular application helps professional technicians ensure smoother power delivery, significantly reduce chain and sprocket wear, and establish more predictable service intervals for their clients.
