Specifically for 1988 - 1994 3.8L: Ford Taurus Lincoln Continental Mercury Sable
To remove the front motor mount: Remove the top nut on the rear motor mount using an extension and 18mm socket. Raise the vehicle and put a jack under the motor. From under vehicle, put Motor Mount Tool on the top nut of front motor mount and break loose. Using a T bar, work top nut until loose and remove with fingers. Remove the bottom nut from motor mount. Jack motor up and carefully remove the mount from underneath. Align new mount and lower motor onto mount. Tighten top nut, then bottom nut and re-torque. Lower car and reinstall rear motor mount nut, and you are finished.
