Key Features

• 3/8" Square Drive: Seamlessly integrates with standard professional 3/8" drive ratchets, extensions, and torque wrenches, offering versatile application across a range of tasks.
• Extra Deep Profile: Delivers essential reach for accessing deeply recessed nuts, long studs, and bolts commonly encountered on cylinder heads, subframes, and intricate intake/exhaust components.
• Nut Grip Retention Mechanism: Utilizes an innovative ball-and-groove system with two balls secured by a spring steel ring to securely hold nuts and bolts, enhancing control in blind, vertical, and overhead fastening tasks where magnetic retention is unsuitable. This design ensures a firm grip on non-magnetic fasteners.
• Precise Metric Fit: Engineered for accurate engagement on metric fasteners, minimizing the risk of rounding and reducing the need for rework on a wide range of modern import and domestic vehicles.
• Shop-Grade Durability: Constructed to withstand the rigorous demands of daily use in professional automotive repair shops, fleet maintenance, and various industrial environments. Ko-ken tools are known for their exceptional precision, durability, and engineering, trusted by professionals across multiple industries.

Applications

This extra deep Nut Grip socket set is an indispensable tool for engine assembly and repair, timing component service, intake and exhaust manifold work, and addressing suspension, steering, and driveline hardware. It is particularly valuable for accessing deeply recessed or obstructed fasteners on late-model vehicles where components are often positioned behind brackets, covers, and subassemblies, making access difficult with standard-depth sockets. The sockets in this set are also ideal for work on turbo or diesel cars.
