The SafTLite by General Manufacturing 1413-2508 Stubby Fluorescent Light is a professional-grade work light engineered for daily use in demanding automotive, industrial, and construction environments. Its compact, "stubby" design, integrated power receptacle, and generous 25-foot cord provide essential task lighting and power access for technicians working in confined or challenging spaces. This durable lighting solution delivers reliable illumination for detailed work and thorough inspections.
Key Features
- Compact "Stubby" Design: The short overall length allows for easy positioning in tight areas such as under dashboards, within engine bays, and along vehicle frames without obstructing components.
- Integrated 120V Auxiliary Receptacle: A built-in outlet at the handle provides convenient power for tools, battery chargers, or additional work lights, helping to maintain an organized workspace.
- 25-Foot Heavy-Duty Power Cord: Offers extended reach across most service bays, lifts, and workstations, minimizing the need for multiple extension cords.
- Even Fluorescent Illumination: Delivers diffuse, low-glare light that minimizes harsh shadows, enhancing visibility for precise work and thorough inspections.
- Professional-Grade Durability: Constructed to withstand the rigors of frequent handling, workshop transport, and demanding professional environments, ensuring long-term reliability.
Applications
This stubby fluorescent light is ideal for automotive technicians performing work on cars, trucks, SUVs, and light commercial vehicles. It is suitable for under-vehicle inspections on lifts, engine and transmission repairs, brake and suspension service, interior diagnostics, and detailed work in low-visibility areas. Beyond the automotive bay, it serves well in industrial maintenance, construction punch list tasks, electrical and plumbing repairs, and inspections in crawl spaces, attics, or behind machinery where a compact work light is advantageous.
