Instructions

To use the Assenmacher Specialty Tools GM140 GM 1.4L Ecotec Timing Kit, follow these steps:

1. Remove the valve cover.
2. Rotate the crankshaft until the timing marks on the camshaft sprocket and crankshaft pulley align.
3. Install the new timing belt.
4. Rotate the crankshaft two complete revolutions.
5. Recheck the timing marks to make sure they are still aligned.
6. Install the valve cover.
