Scotch Performance Green Masking Tape 233+ 18mm x 60 Yd 48 Case - 3M Automotive

The 3M Automotive Scotch Performance Green Masking Tape 233+ (Model 26334) is a professional-grade masking solution engineered for demanding automotive and industrial painting applications. This premium 18 mm x 60 Yd tape delivers unparalleled precision for exceptionally sharp paint lines and clean, residue-free removal, even after challenging paint bake cycles, making it an indispensable tool for achieving flawless finishes.

Key Features

• Proprietary Green Backing: Engineered for superior conformability to contours and curves, ensuring crisp paint line separation on diverse surfaces including metal, plastic, glass, and rubber. The distinctive green color also enhances visibility for accurate edge alignment.
• Balanced Adhesion System: Provides a strong, secure hold on various substrates while allowing for consistent, residue-free removal, minimizing rework and cleanup time. It resists adhesive transfer and slivering, even after extended application times.
• High Temperature Resistance: Designed to maintain integrity and performance through demanding paint bake cycles, withstanding temperatures up to 250°F (121°C) for 30 minutes without compromising adhesion or clean removal.
• Paint Compatibility: Compatible with both waterborne and solvent-based paint systems, preventing paint bleed-through and ensuring high-quality results on critical projects.

Applications

• Automotive Refinishing: Essential for creating sharp paint breaks and protecting adjacent areas during multi-tone painting, collision repair, and custom detailing on vehicles.
• Industrial Painting: Ideal for demanding manufacturing and maintenance environments requiring precise masking for crisp edges and surface protection on machinery and components.
• Two-Tone and Custom Graphics: Facilitates accurate line creation for complex designs and multi-color applications, ensuring professional-grade results on vehicles and equipment.
