2 Pc 3/8" Drive Spring Compressor Set 300mm L - Genius Tools

The Genius Tools AT-SC230 3/8" Drive Spring Compressor Set provides professional technicians with a reliable and precise solution for safely compressing coil springs during automotive suspension service. This two-piece set, each compressor measuring 300mm in length, is engineered for seamless integration with standard 3/8" drive tools or air impact wrenches. It is ideal for streamlining suspension work and facilitating controlled spring compression and decompression on a wide range of passenger vehicles and light trucks.

Key Features

• Versatile Drive Compatibility: Designed for use with common 3/8" drive ratchets, breaker bars, or air impact wrenches, offering operational flexibility with existing shop equipment and enabling precise torque control.
• Extended 300mm Reach: Each 300mm compressor provides enhanced access and leverage, making it suitable for compressing coil springs on various passenger cars and light trucks, including many strut and coil-over assemblies.
• Balanced Two-Piece Design: Features a dual compressor setup that evenly distributes the load across the coil spring, significantly enhancing stability and control during both compression and decompression phases.
• Professional-Grade Durability: Constructed from high-strength materials to ensure long-term reliability and withstand the rigorous demands of professional automotive and industrial service, meeting or exceeding ANSI standards for tool quality.
• Controlled Compression Mechanism: Utilizes a threaded design for gradual, incremental spring compression, which greatly improves safety when handling loaded suspension components and minimizes risk.

Applications

The AT-SC230 set is suitable for various automotive service tasks, including:

• Facilitating the safe removal and installation of coil springs during front and rear automotive suspension repair.
• Servicing MacPherson strut assemblies on a wide range of passenger vehicles and light trucks.
