This design also enhances vibration resistance, providing a more secure connection.
- Robust Hex Head Design: The hexagonal head allows for superior tool grip, enabling higher torque applications and reducing the risk of cam-out or stripping, which is essential for heavy-duty automotive tasks.
- Self-Tapping Capability: Designed as a tapping screw, it creates its own threads in a pre-drilled pilot hole, simplifying installation and ensuring a strong, consistent bond in appropriate materials.
- Durable Construction: Constructed from zinc-plated steel with a black finish, this screw offers durability and a professional appearance for various automotive applications.
- Specific BMW Compatibility: Engineered for a wide range of BMW vehicles from 1999 to 2013 and newer, including models like the 1 Series M, 128i, 135i, 228i, and 320i. It is cross-referenced with BMW OEM part numbers 07-14-7-129-160, 07-14-7-129-161, and 17-14-7-129-160.
