Mongoose is a PassThru vehicle network interface that connects a laptop directly to the OBD-II connector. The Mongoose product line is a family of low cost, high performance interfaces. Uses include flash reprogramming security key programming and more. All Mongoose interfaces support the SAE-J2534 API. The Mongoose requires a Windows PC with a high speed connection to the internet to access the vehicle manufacturer's website in order to download calibration files. To best utilize this tool, technicians should be proficient with a PC and the internet.
