Featuring a durable polyester film backing and premium aluminum oxide grain, this 3-inch P100 grit disc delivers consistent performance for tasks ranging from sanding body filler to preparing surfaces for coatings.
Key Features
- Premium Aluminum Oxide Grain: Provides aggressive cutting action and extended disc life for efficient material removal.
- Durable Polyester Film Backing: Offers superior flexibility and tear resistance, ensuring consistent performance even on contoured surfaces.
- Open Coat Design: Reduces clogging and pilling, particularly when sanding softer materials or finishes, leading to longer disc life and a more consistent cut.
- Phenolic Resin Bond: Ensures secure adhesion of the abrasive grains to the backing, resisting heat and pressure during demanding applications.
- Grip (Velcro) Attachment: Allows for quick and secure disc changes on compatible rotary or random orbital sanders.
Applications
This 3-inch P100 grit film disc is well-suited for a variety of tasks in professional workshops. It excels in preparing automotive body panels by feather edging existing paint, leveling body filler, or scuffing surfaces before primer application. In industrial settings, it can be used for moderate material removal on metals, composites, and woodworking projects, providing a consistent scratch pattern in preparation for finer grits.
