The Grey Pneumatic 1155T 3/8 Inch SAE T55 Internal Star Impact Driver is engineered for professional technicians requiring robust performance in high-torque applications. This impact-rated driver ensures a precise fit for T55 internal star (Torx-style) fasteners, crucial for efficient removal and installation in late-model vehicles, light trucks, and industrial equipment without causing damage.
Key Features
- Impact-Rated Chrome-Molybdenum Steel: Constructed from premium chrome-molybdenum alloy steel, this driver is designed to withstand repeated high-torque cycles, shock loading, and resist deformation under continuous professional use with 3/8" drive impact wrenches and ratchets.
- Precision T55 Internal Star Profile: Features an accurately machined T55 profile that provides tight engagement with fasteners, effectively minimizing cam-out and preventing damage to stubborn bolts and the driver itself.
- Standard 3/8" Square Drive: Offers full compatibility with common 3/8" drive impact wrenches, cordless impact drivers with appropriate adapters, and extensions, allowing seamless integration into existing professional tool collections.
- Optimized Length for Access: Its compact, low-profile design improves access in confined work areas such as tight engine bays, under-dash components, and around suspension systems, enhancing versatility for a range of tasks.
Applications
This Grey Pneumatic impact driver is essential for professional automotive repair and maintenance tasks involving T55 Torx fasteners. It is ideally suited for working on brake caliper brackets, seatbelt anchor points, seat tracks, steering column components, and various underbody hardware across a wide range of vehicles.
