This 1/2' impact performed better than expected. Power was excellent and I had no problem loosening such fasteners as lug nuts on several vehicles. The throttle action allowed controllable speeds, a big plus for a variety of applications and the switch was a push type rather than the rocker types that can be a little frustrating. With a high torque rating of 400 FtLbs, it is comparable to much higher priced tools but with equivalent quality and performance.
