Precision Instruments C3FR250F 1/2 In Dr Split Beam Click Type T

Hello.

I received my order Number: 294785. Really nice torque wrench.
I have yet to use it, but looked it over.

I noticed that there is a fairly big brown grease or dirt smudge on the white dial face where you adjust the torque setting.

It doesn't cover the numbers completely or affect use of the tool, but it is irritating to look at and shouldn't be present on such a high quality tool. What is up with that?
