SK 40970-2 Professional Ratchet Rebuild Kit for Model 40970, 409

I had an old S-K ratchet that belonged to my father and after much searching Tool Source had a rebuild kit. The kit works great. The only negative was that I could not use the retaining ring that was in the kit. Instead of being round wire, like the original, it was flat...and was impossible to fit. Thankfully I still had the original round wire ring and I used that and it worked great! Thank to Tool Source, I now have a working 4" ratchet!.
