Universal AC Dye Four Replacement Cartridges - Robinair

Ensure precise and efficient refrigerant leak detection in automotive and light HVAC systems with the Robinair 16356 Universal AC Dye Four Replacement Cartridges. These professional-grade, pre-filled cartridges deliver a highly visible fluorescent dye, streamlining the diagnostic process for professional technicians and mechanics. Designed for quick and accurate leak identification, they help reduce diagnostic time and prevent costly system failures in various vehicle and system types.

Key Features

• Universal AC Dye Formulation: This OEM-approved and SAE-certified dye is compatible with a broad range of refrigerants, including R-12, R-134a, and R-1234yf, in automotive A/C systems, as well as standard HVAC refrigerants when used with appropriate injection equipment.
• High-Visibility Fluorescent Dye: The advanced UV-reactive dye illuminates brightly under ultraviolet light, enabling the rapid and accurate identification of even small, elusive leaks across critical components such as hoses, fittings, condensers, and evaporators.
• Pre-filled, Ready-to-Use Design: Each box contains four 1-ounce (30 ml) sealed cartridges, minimizing direct handling of bulk dye, reducing the risk of contamination, and ensuring consistent, accurate dosing with every application.
• Consistent and Controlled Injection: Engineered for seamless integration with compatible Robinair dye injection tools (including kits 16350, 16380, and 16355), these cartridges provide repeatable and reliable dye delivery into the system.
• High Application Yield: Each 1-ounce cartridge provides enough dye for 5 applications, totaling 20 applications per box, ensuring efficiency for high-volume service environments. Service stickers are also included to mark completed services.

Applications

• Automotive A/C Diagnostics: Indispensable for locating refrigerant leaks in passenger cars, light trucks, and fleet vehicles, preventing potential component failure and costly repairs.
• HVAC Service and Maintenance: Suitable for small commercial and residential HVAC systems where UV dye leak detection is a standard diagnostic procedure.
• Preventive Inspections: Facilitates the early identification of minor leaks during routine A/C service, helping to mitigate larger issues and reduce vehicle comebacks.
• Post-Repair Verification: Crucial for follow-up inspections after repairs to confirm that all leak points have been successfully sealed.
