The Robinair 16242 Tracker Universal A/C Fluorescent Dye 12-pack offers professional technicians a reliable and efficient method for pinpointing refrigerant leaks across a wide range of automotive and light industrial A/C systems. Each container provides a pre-measured charge, ensuring precise application and consistent dye concentration to streamline diagnostic processes and help reduce vehicle downtime.
Key Features
- Broad System Compatibility: Engineered for effective use with R-134a, R-12, and R-1234yf refrigerants, making it suitable for passenger cars, light trucks, heavy-duty vehicles, and diverse fleet applications.
- Enhanced Leak Detection: The advanced fluorescent formula creates a bright, distinct trace under UV light, enabling technicians to accurately identify even minor leaks in critical areas such as hoses, fittings, condensers, evaporators, and compressors.
- Pre-Dosed Precision: Each individual charge is pre-measured, ensuring consistent dye concentration within the A/C system for accurate diagnostics and efficient material usage.
- System-Safe Formulation: Developed to be non-contaminating, this dye maintains full compatibility with standard A/C lubricants, seals, and professional service equipment, including refrigerant recovery and recycling machines.
Applications
- Diagnosing and pinpointing refrigerant leaks in automotive and truck A/C systems during routine repair and service procedures.
- Supporting preventative maintenance programs and A/C inspections for fleet operations and commercial vehicles.
- Verifying the integrity of A/C system repairs on components like compressors, condensers, evaporators, and their associated hoses and seals.
- Identifying early refrigerant losses to address minor issues before they escalate into major component failures.
