The DBC Series Flex-Hone tool was originally developed to deglaze and finish Disc Brake cylinders but can be used anywhere a shorter, more compact tool is required. The Flex Hone tool is available in different abrasive types and grits selections.

How to Use

1. Inspect the brake cylinder to make sure it is free of debris.
2. Apply a small amount of brake fluid to the Flex Hone tool.
3. Insert the Flex Hone tool into the brake cylinder and rotate it back and forth until the cylinder is clean.
4. Remove the Flex Hone tool and wipe the brake cylinder clean with a clean cloth.

Warnings

• Do not use the Flex Hone tool on a hot brake cylinder.
• Do not use the Flex Hone tool on a brake cylinder that is leaking fluid.
• Do not use the Flex Hone tool on a brake cylinder that is damaged.
