The Master Appliance 11540 PROSEAL Butt Connectors/RE are engineered for professional technicians and mechanics requiring robust electrical connections in challenging automotive and industrial settings. These heat-seal butt splice connectors deliver optimal electrical continuity and mechanical strength, ensuring watertight integrity and long-term reliability in demanding conditions.
Key Features
- Enhanced Crimp Strength: The seamless butt connector design prevents barrel opening during crimping, facilitating a secure connection with up to 89 lbs tensile strength.
- Superior Electrical Performance: Designed for excellent wire contact, these connectors minimize voltage drop and promote efficient current flow across the splice, crucial for sensitive automotive and industrial electronics.
- Watertight Adhesive Seal: Uniform adhesive flow creates a complete, watertight seal around the connection without compromising the terminal, effectively preserving electrical contact against moisture and corrosives.
- Consistent Insulation & Support: The heat shrink tubing maintains its length during application, providing uniform insulation, robust wire support, and reliable strain relief for a durable repair.
- Easy Identification: Features durable, color-coded insulation with clear wire gauge imprints for quick and accurate selection, streamlining workflow for professional installations and repairs.
Applications
Master Appliance PROSEAL Butt Connectors/RE are suitable for a wide range of professional applications, including repairing and extending electrical wiring in automotive systems, marine vessels, agricultural machinery, and various heavy-duty industrial equipment. They are particularly effective in environments where resistance to moisture, vibration, and corrosion is critical for maintaining long-term electrical system performance.
