These cartridges integrate a highly visible UV leak detection dye with an advanced additive package, designed to protect system components and optimize performance across a broad spectrum of vehicles and refrigerants. Engineered for seamless use with Uview Spotgun Jr. injection tools, they ensure precise and consistent dye delivery for effective system analysis and care.

Key Features

• Precise UV Leak Detection: Each cartridge contains a super-concentrated UV fluorescent dye, engineered to provide a bright, clear trace under UV light for rapid and accurate identification of A/C leaks in passenger cars, light trucks, and fleet vehicles.
• Advanced System Protection: The ExtenDye formulation enhances compressor oil lubricity and supports overall system efficiency, safeguarding critical A/C components and extending their operational life.
• Reduced Wear and Noise: Integrated friction modifiers and anti-wear agents establish a protective film on moving parts, minimizing metal-to-metal contact, which helps reduce operational noise and excessive heat generation.
• Hybrid and EV Compatibility: Safe for use in both conventional internal combustion engine vehicles and modern hybrid and electric vehicle A/C systems, including those equipped with electrically driven compressors.
• SAE J2297 Certified: These cartridges meet stringent SAE J2297 standards, ensuring reliable performance and broad compatibility for professional A/C leak detection dye applications.

Applications

These cartridges are essential for automotive A/C leak detection, preventative maintenance, and post-repair verification in professional workshops. They are suitable for servicing a diverse range of vehicles, including passenger cars, light- and medium-duty trucks, and fleet vehicles. Additionally, they can be utilized in compatible HVAC/R systems within residential, commercial, and light industrial settings when appropriate oils and refrigerants are used.
