Dye 1oz Bottle Fluoro-Lite Leak Detection - Tracer Products

The Tracer Products TP-3840-0601 Fluoro-Lite Leak Detection Dye offers professional technicians a precise and reliable method for identifying fluid leaks across both automotive and industrial equipment. This advanced, professional-grade fluorescent dye is engineered to rapidly pinpoint leak origins, enhancing diagnostic accuracy and streamlining maintenance operations on critical systems.

Key Features

• High-Visibility Fluorescent Formula: Engineered for superior brightness under UV light, this dye facilitates clear identification of even minute leak points in diverse fluid systems. Some Fluoro-Lite formulations are up to 10% brighter than previous dyes, enabling quicker and easier leak spotting.
• Precise 1oz (30 ml) Application: The compact 1oz bottle allows for controlled and targeted dye dispensing, which minimizes waste and optimizes placement within closed-loop systems.
• Broad System Compatibility: Formulated to integrate seamlessly with various fluid types, including R-134a and R-1234yf refrigerants, oils, fuels, and coolants, making it suitable for a wide range of automotive, heavy-duty, and industrial applications.
• Co-Solvent Free Formulation: Professionally formulated to remain safely within the system without compromising lubricant properties or overall system performance, meeting SAE J2297 standards. Tracer Products dyes are OEM tested and approved for safe use in air conditioning systems.
• Proactive Maintenance Support: Facilitates early detection of nascent leaks, aiding in the prevention of significant system failures and reducing the necessity for extensive, costly repairs and equipment downtime. This dye is even factory-installed in new cars and trucks by some automakers.

Applications

This Fluoro-Lite leak detection dye serves as a versatile diagnostic tool for a range of professional applications:

• Automotive & Heavy-Duty Vehicle Maintenance: Essential for pinpointing refrigerant leaks in HVAC/R systems, as well as oil, fuel, and coolant leaks in engine and hydraulic components of cars, trucks, and heavy-duty vehicles. This includes compatibility with modern R-1234yf and traditional R-134a A/C systems.
• Industrial Hydraulic & Lubrication Systems: Effectively identifies leaks in critical hydraulic, lubrication, and other closed-loop fluid systems within industrial machinery, promoting operational reliability and extending equipment lifespan.
• Preventative Maintenance Programs: Integrates into routine maintenance procedures to proactively identify potential leaks before they escalate, enhancing overall system longevity and performance.
