The Milwaukee M18 FUEL Drywall Screw Gun (model 2866-20) delivers professional-grade, cordless fastening performance specifically designed for demanding residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Engineered for efficiency, this high-production tool provides consistent speed and superior mobility, significantly enhancing productivity in various applications, including those around vehicles and industrial equipment where corded tools can be impractical.

Key Features

• POWERSTATE Brushless Motor: Delivers up to 4,500 RPM for rapid and consistent driving into drywall, wood studs, and light-gauge steel track, often surpassing the productivity of corded alternatives.
• AUTOSTART Mode: Activates the motor only when the bit engages the workpiece, reducing noise between screws and extending runtime when paired with M18 REDLITHIUM batteries (sold separately). This makes it an efficient choice for continuous work.
• REDLINK PLUS Intelligence: Provides advanced electronic monitoring to safeguard both the tool and battery from overload and overheating, ensuring reliable performance and extended tool life in daily trade use.
• Tool-Free Depth Adjustment: Enables quick, precise screw depth settings for clean, repeatable countersinks, streamlining surface preparation for tape and mud without additional tools.
• Lightweight, Compact Design: Weighing approximately 2.5 lbs (tool only), this design minimizes fatigue during prolonged or overhead fastening tasks, contributing to improved control and comfort for professional use.

Applications

This M18 FUEL Drywall Screw Gun excels in fastening drywall, cement board, and similar sheathing materials. It is well-suited for hanging drywall on wood or metal studs in various interior settings, including shop and body shop build-outs, office partitions, and service bay renovations. Its cordless design is particularly effective for trades working around vehicles and equipment where corded tools could be impractical or create tripping hazards, offering professional-grade construction and durability for consistent output.
