It is a two-part flowable polyester finishing and blending putty.

Key Features

• Effortless Sanding & Feather-Edging: Formulated with Hattonite for optimum sanding performance, this putty is designed for rapid cutting and easy feather-edging by hand or with a DA sander. It minimizes abrasive clogging and extends sandpaper life, enhancing overall shop efficiency.
• Rapid Curing Performance: Features fast-drying properties that significantly reduce wait times between application, sanding, and topcoat preparation, streamlining workflow for both multi-panel and spot repairs. It has a sandable cure time of 5 minutes.
• Precision Surface Refinement: Effectively fills minor imperfections such as pinholes, light sanding scratches, stone chips, and small surface waves, ensuring a uniform substrate for optimal primer and paint adhesion. It is ideally suited for filling and skim coating body work, pinholes, grind marks, low spots, and other surface imperfections.
• Defect-Resistant Finish: Promotes a clean, pinhole-resistant surface, helping to prevent defects from telegraphing through subsequent primer, basecoat, and clear coats, ensuring consistent, high-quality refinish results.
• Broad Substrate Compatibility: Suitable for application over properly prepared body filler, OEM e-coat, and existing finishes. It includes ZNX-7 for adhesion to galvanized metal, aluminum, and steel. This allows for seamless integration into comprehensive automotive and industrial refinish systems.

Applications

Evercoat Easy Sand Glazing Putty 421 is utilized as a final skim or glazing layer over repaired areas on a wide range of vehicles, including passenger cars, light trucks, SUVs, and commercial vehicles. It is an ideal solution for collision repair, localized spot and edge repairs, and restoration projects that demand a refined, consistent panel surface prior to primer and color application. Apply to properly prepped substrates to correct minor surface flaws, establishing a durable and smooth foundation for topcoats.
