DAD-400 Humidity Indicator - DeVilbiss

The DeVilbiss DAD-400 Humidity Indicator is a critical tool for professional automotive and industrial environments, providing immediate visual confirmation of moisture levels within compressed air systems. It helps ensure optimal air quality, safeguarding sensitive equipment, especially when working with waterborne paints.

Key Features

• Instant Visual Moisture Detection: The prominent color-changing strip transitions from white (dry) to pink (moisture), providing clear, immediate indication of desiccant saturation. This allows technicians to quickly assess air quality.
• Optimizes Air System Performance: By signaling when desiccant material replacement is required, this indicator helps maintain the efficient operation of desiccant air dryer systems, such as the DeVilbiss DAD-500 CleanAir Three-Stage Desiccant Air Dryer System.
• Seamless DeVilbiss Integration: Engineered for direct compatibility with DeVilbiss air filtration and drying units, including the DAD-503 and HAF-601 breathable air filtration systems, simplifying setup and monitoring.
• Professional-Grade Durability: Constructed to withstand the rigorous demands of professional automotive body shops and industrial settings, ensuring consistent, reliable performance.
• Protects Valuable Equipment: Facilitates proactive air quality maintenance, safeguarding pneumatic tools, spray guns, and other sensitive machinery from moisture-induced damage and costly rework.

Applications

This humidity indicator is essential for any professional operation requiring consistently dry, moisture-free compressed air. It is particularly vital for critical paint spraying and finishing operations, especially when utilizing waterborne paints in automotive body shops, to prevent defects and achieve superior finishes. Beyond painting, it provides crucial protection for sensitive pneumatic tools, industrial machinery, and various processes that rely on dry compressed air for optimal function and extended longevity. The DAD-400 enables continuous monitoring of desiccant air dryer systems, providing timely alerts for desiccant material replacement to maintain drying performance and overall system efficiency.
