Versatile Surface Compatibility: Designed for effective use on a wide variety of metals, including steel, aluminum, and cast iron, without undercutting or damaging the base material.

Applications

This Scotch-Brite Hookit disc is an essential tool for automotive and industrial technicians involved in critical surface preparation. It excels at quickly removing cut cork, paper, and form-in-place (FIPG) gasket materials from engine blocks, cylinder heads, valve covers, and transmission housings prior to reassembly. Additionally, its coarse grade is ideal for cleaning light oxidation, deburring, and preparing surfaces for coatings or painting, ensuring proper adhesion and sealing in various repair and maintenance tasks.
